Welcome to the latest issue of Tube Products International, which is a special Tube Düsseldorf issue of the magazine. I hope that within its 124 pages (which I am proud to say is our largest ever issue) you will find all of the information you need during your visit to Germany. Inside you will discover a full list of exhibitors and their stand numbers as well as all the latest news on the industry. We also have in- depth information on many of the products that are being exhibited in our Düsseldorf Exhibitor Section, which starts on page 78. The magazine is an official media partner of the Tube show and is being distributed in several locations so be sure to pick up your copy. We will be in the main entrance hall and I will also be based in Hall 4, stand B29 all week. With 1,179 exhibiting companies, Tube once again broke its exhibitor record in 2012 (and has grown eight-fold since the first show in 1988). Last time 2,600 extra visitors attended so 2014 should be equally spectacular. A new feature at Tube 2014 will be the Plastic Tube Forum (PTF) a special show about plastic tubes and their versatile applications. At the forum the organisers will address the challenges and opportunities of the plastic tube market relating to energy and environmental engineering. It will be located in Hall 7.1 and is aimed at raw material producers, tube manufacturers and dealers, engineers and users.
