Coffee house culture Due to its central location near the university, theaters and various ministries, Café Landtmann (left) has been an important meeting place of actors, writers, politicians and thinkers – among them Sigmund Freud and Gustav Mahler. Vienna City Hall The neo-gothic building (far left) is not only the Rathaus (city hall), but also the setting for Vienna’s Life Ball, one of the biggest AIDS charity events in the world. Designed by architect Friedrich von Schmidt, the building was completed in 1883.

Horse power Taking a fiaker , or horse-drawn cab (right), is one of the best ways to see old Vienna. Snake through the Hofburg Palace complex in truly royal style.

Kunsthistorische Museum Wikipedia calls this museum (above) one of the largest and most important museums in the world. It is huge. You can revisit it every now and then and always discover new details and artwork.
