Construction of new buildings for St. Charles Borromeo parish (Loma Portal), shown above in architect's sketch, has begun. The foundations have already been laid for the convent (left fore- ground) and the school and auditorium (left and left center), which are scheduled to be completed by August 31. Work on the church (right center) and rectory (right) will begin at a later date, according to the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Joseph Trivisonno, pastor. Upon completion of the auditorium, Mass will be celebrated there. (At present Masses are celebrated in the Loma theatre.)
