The Council re-appointed for five years Mr. E. H. Burne to be one of the members of the Council on the District Court Rules Committee. The Council re-appointed for five years Mr. Henry P. Mayne to be a member of the Local Registration of Titles Rules Committee. SOLICITORS' BILL. The Joint Committee in charge of this Bill, consisting of representatives of the Council and representatives of the Provincial Bar Associations, met upon Tuesday, the 27th January. Macaulay, Mr. T. H. R. Craig, Mr. L. F. Branigan, Mr. A. J. Malone and Mr. Hugh O'Donnell.

MEETING OF THE COUNCIL.

15th January. Twenty members present.

Election of Representatives on Rule-Making Committees. A letter was read from Mr. T. H. R. Craig intimating to the Council that he did not desire re-appointment as a member of the Circuit Court Rules Committee, which posi– tion he had filled for the past five years. The Council recorded a vote of thanks to Mr. Craig for his services in that capacity which were much appreciated by the Council. Mr. John J. Horgan having in November last intimated to the Council that he did not desire re-appointment as a member of the Circuit Court Rules Committee, his resigna– tion was accepted and a vote of thanks was recorded expressing appreciation of his services as a member of the Committee. The Council appointed Mr. Sean O hUadhaigh and Mr. John J. Dunne to be members of the Circuit Court Rules Committee for the ensuing five years.
