Rules & regulations

Ethos:

The aim of the competition is to provide men aged 16+ with the opportunity to play 11-a-side football that may be unable to play in a weekend football league.

League Officers:

The league will be administered by the Peterborough & District Football League.

Venue:

3G football turf pitch, Netherton United FC, The Grange, Mayors Walk, Peterborough, PE3 6HQ, with a second venue of Yaxley FC on Tuesday Nights, In2itive Park, Leading Drove, Holme Road, Yaxley, Peterborough, PE7 3NA if we are oversubscribed. This competition and its Clubs shall support The FA’s Respect programme. As such it recognises that everyone in football has a collective responsibility to create a fair, safe and enjoyable envi- ronment in which the game can take place. A Respect League values the contribution of match officials, players and spectators and ensures that they are treated with courtesy and fairness by opposing players, club officials and spectators. The League and its Clubs will seek to play fixtures in a fair, competitive but not antagonistic environment.

League format

Format:

The league will consist of two divisions of six teams. The divisions will be known as A and B.

Teams will play each other once during Season 1 (5 fixtures) on the dates shown below. • League A – 26 th May, 9 th June, 23 rd June, 7 th July, and 21 st July • League B – 2 nd June, 16 th June, 30 th June, 14 th July and 28 th July • Finals night – 4 th August 2016 Matches will kick-off at 7.00pm, 8.00pm or 9.00pm. Fixtures and results will be published online using The FA’s Full-Time league website.

Depending on interest, additional seasons may be added.

Points system:

3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss.

Standings:

League positions will be determined on the following priority: 1. Points 2. Goal difference. 3. Goals scored. 4. Goals conceded
