C ONFIDENTIALITY A GREEMENT

In consideration of my employment at [________________] School, I understand, accept, and will adhere to the following Confidentiality Agreement: In the course of my employment, I may handle or have access to Confidential Information. Confidential Information may include, but is not limited to: (1) Student educational information and discipline records, (2) Employee assignments or projects that have been deemed confidential and have not been publicly disclosed by the School, including but not limited to, proprietary information of the School. This does not include an employee’s day-to-day assignments and job duties. (3) Non-public personal information, concerning employees, alumni, and students and student families including, but not limited to, Social Security numbers, banking or financial information, medical and health information, disability status or special needs, (4) School information which has not been publicly published or released with School authorization and is protected by State and Federal law, and (5) Personal information about donors, and other affiliates or friends of [________________] School. This does not include personal information about board members as it relates to an individual board member’s relationship to [________________] School. During my employment and after the termination of my employment, I will hold all Confidential Information in trust and confidence, and I will not use, disclose, communicate, convey, or allow this information to be used, disclosed, communicated, or conveyed, either directly or indirectly, except as may be necessary in the performance of my duties. I understand that unauthorized disclosure could be highly damaging to [________________] School. I understand that this Confidentiality Agreement does not in any way prevent me and other employees from disclosing or discussing our wages and working conditions. [________________] School will not discharge, formally discipline, or otherwise discriminate against an employee who engages such activities. I accept that it is my responsibility to follow [________________] School's policies and procedures, as outlined in the Faculty/Staff Handbook, as well as the directions of my supervisor(s), with respect to the use and disclosure of Confidential Information. If I have any question about Confidential Information, including what constitutes Confidential Information, I will consult my supervisor(s) immediately.
