Lilbert Fils CHAMPAGNE The written record has the Lilbert family cultivating vines around its hilltop village of Cramant in 1746, and it’s probably a fair bet that they were there sometime before that (the oldest part of their 23-foot-deep cellar dates from 1712). The record further shows that as early as 1907 the family bottled its own wine for commercial sale. 373812 Brut Blanc De Blanc NV 750ml $53.33 93WS Oudinot CHAMPAGNE The creation of the Oudinot Company dates back to the end of the 19th century when Jules Edouard Oudinot decided to make his own champagne using grapes from his vineyard in Avize. It was the start of a long family history as, after 40 years at the head of his company, he passed the torch onto his son Marcel, who would himself manage the Company for the same length of time. In 1981, Marcel Oudinot sold his Company to the Trouillard family (who owned Château Malakoff), another well-known Cham- pagne family. 751473 Brut NV 750ml $24.99 751479 Rosé Brut NV 750ml $27.33
