INSPIRE TOP 50 ADVENTURES

Champion free diving BAJA PENINSULA, MEXICO Free diving is considered the most natural way to explore beneath the waves. Relying on the participant’s ability to hold their breath until resurfacing, free diving is an exhilarating but perilous experience if not performed correctly. Expert guidance is a must, so why not learn from a titleholder? Hanli Prinsloo is a record- holding free diving champion, as well as a passionate ocean conservationist and founder of the I AmWater charitable foundation. She personally teaches guests how to free dive in the warm waters off Mexico’s Baja Peninsula, known as “the world’s aquarium” thanks to the incredible diversity of marine species there. Each day begins or ends with a yoga session to prepare guests’ lungs and body for deep breaths and extended time underwater. Learn to control your breathing and slow your heart rate to free dive successfully, and swim alongside the ocean’s most magnificent creatures – dolphins, sea lions, whale sharks and jack fish.
