Larikka OrbiCut has developed its pipe cutting in orbital welding as a response to customers’ different needs for high quality pipe cutting and specifically to provide cutting result suitable directly for orbital welding without filling wire. All machine functions of Larikka OrbiCut are CNC controlled.

During the fully automatic cutting process pipe is stationary, whereas cutting inserts rotate outside the pipe meaning no damage to outer surface. Tubular parts in high quality Larikka CylinCollar are developed for effective and high quality collaring of tubular parts such as tees and manifolds. The collaring process takes place inside a tubular part in one continuous working cycle. The resulting collar has a smooth inner surface and minimal work hardening.
