Easing the load with new forklift

on offer, most of the Combilifts now in operation around the world are tailor made machines. Lift capacities range from 2.5 – 14 tonnes, and LPG, diesel or AC electric power options are available. Visitors to Tube Düsseldorf will be able to check out the Combilift range on Stand 4G19. Combilift – Republic of Ireland

THE Combilift range of four-way forklifts has been designed and developed as the specialist solution for the safe handling of extreme loads, while enabling customers to make vast savings on storage space at the same time. The Irish manufacturer recently celebrated another milestone when it delivered its 10,000 th truck to a North American company. Many of the products handled in the tube and pipe sector are exceptionally long and heavy, and therefore awkward to handle with conventional forklifts such as counterbalance trucks or sideloaders. Even when a combination of the two are used, safe operations are compromised by having to swap loads around, and large areas of potentially valuable space needs to be set aside for manoeuvring. The Combilifts’ robust design and no-nonsense engineering, incorporating a minimum of sensitive components together with super elastic tyres enable them to work inside and out and on semi- rough terrain even in harsh conditions, for

reliable operation – whatever the weather. Combilift provides customised products according to individual requirements, and although there are around 15 base models, there is really no such thing as a “standard” Combilift. Each truck is made to order, and with the wide variety of mast heights, platform sizes, fork types and attachments
