The Scoop Stretcher Ferno 65 EXL is ergonomically designed from high strength aluminium and precision mouldings allowing light weight with considerable strength. The biggest advantage of the Scoop Stretcher Ferno 65 EXL is that it enables easy access to awkward low spaces and makes movement of the body easy in confined areas. Additionally it can be split into two pieces. The materials used are resistant to corrosion, heat, cold and body fluids. Seamless construction makes cleaning easy. PARAGUARD EXCEL STRETCHER FERNO

The Paraguard Stretcher is a compact and versatile rescue stretcher, designed for a variety of emergencies.

It is ideal for search and rescue operations and can be used to rescue casualties from collapsed buildings, industrial incidents or confined spaces.

The Fibrelight Four Section Stretcher is a lightweight yet rigid stretcher that fits into a backpack or small holdall; this stretcher has the same strength qualities as the Rod Stretcher but the added advantage that it folds down into almost a quarter of the size. The snap together construction allows it to be assembled in less than 20 seconds. As with the Rod Stretcher this stretcher is fully adjustable to accommodate a wide range of sizes and will securely contain a casualty for a horizontal lift.The stretchers compact construction makes it ideal for military or emergency teams.

The stretcher is manufactured using carbon fibre tubing in four sections. The tubes are enclosed in robust fabric sleeving and drawn together with elastic cord. When the tubes are fitted and sewn at right angles between the double thickness pockets of a second webbing an incredibly strong structure is created. The result is a device that is highly portable, compact, lightweight, yet strong and rigid when assembled. The material is wipe and spray clean as well as rot and mildew resistant.

FOLDING STRETCHERS

Both the Fibrelight Rod Stretcher and Fibrelight Four Section Stretcher have been tested with a static load, suspended horizontally by four side handles loaded with 200kgs for 1 hour. Snatch Test, suspended horizontally by four side handles loaded with 100kgs. One pair of handles dropped 150mm and arrested abruptly, repeated for 10,000 cycles to simulatemovement over rough terrain for 5km. No damage or deterioration was evident on completion of these tests. The construction has also been tested as per SOLAS Approval from Lloyd’s Register and approved for Thermal Ageing, Weathering, UV Exposure, Oil Resistance and practical performance.

RECOVERY CRADLE FIBRELIGHT

The SOLAS approved Fibrelight Cradle is a maritime recovery system that can be operated by a single crew member. The Cradle can also serve as a boarding ladder, scramble net and stretcher. The Fibrelight Cradle is lighter, more compact, and more versatile than any comparable devices. The cradle requires only regular inspections and minimal maintenance every three years.

The cradle can be easily rolled and stowed.

The Fibrelight Recovery Cradle has been tested to ISO 799 as part of the SOLAS approval programme. This required successive rungs to be loaded to 900kgs plus, and sustained for one minute without failure. The construction has also been tested and approved for Thermal Ageing, Weathering, UV Light, Oil Resistance and practical performance.

This is achieved through one end of the cradle being secured to the craft and the outboard end being held outwards by hand, boat hook or bridle. The incapable person is then guided into the cradle and the outboard end is hauled in rung by rung. The person is then safely rolled over the side and into the craft.
