PEDI-MATE RESTRAINT FERNO (MODEL 678)

Developed by air rescue professionals, the LSP Cinch Rescue Ring is a patented compact multi-use rescue device designed for safe recovery of victims during helicopter, watercraft, and confined-space rescue situations. Like a traditional ring buoy, this first-line rescue device allows the victim to enter the ring from either side of the loop, with head and arms extended. Tension on the rope then releases the connector and allows the ring to cinch around his chest, preventing him from slipping out in the event he becomes unconscious.

LSP INFANT/PEDIATRIC IMMOBILIZATION BOARD (L484-040C)

The LSP Infant/Pediatric Immobilization Board is a versatile system capable of easily immobilizing infants and children with spinal injuries, or it can be used as a restraint device. It will accommodate children from infant to approximately 75 pounds (34 kg). The unique harness system, which is integral to the device, allows easy manipulation of the child for proper airwaymanagement or radiological procedures. Once the child is positioned on the immobilization board, the spine is functionallymaintained inaneutrally-alignedstaticposition. The split-leg strapping design allows each leg to be immobilized and treated separately. The removable and washable nylon covering is easy to clean and disinfect, and durable enough to withstand harsh treatment either in the field or in a hospital. The 1/2-inch board stiffener is made of finished Baltic birch, and is also easy to clean and maintain. The Infant/Pediatric Board is completely radiotransparent and fully MRI compatible, allowing immobilization during x-ray or MRI. The optional Drug Dosage and Patient Management Sleeve is designed to attach a Broselow Tape® or a customized patient management system as a reference for quicker determination of treatment.
