In extreme crash scene rescue and extrication cases, patient removal is critical. Rescuers involved expressed a need for hand protection where cut, puncture and grip were the key features. SAPREX® ARMORCORE™ covers the palm with level 5 cut resistance while genuine leather patches enhance grip. The dorsal side implement Kevlar® materials and CAD designed 3D hard knuckle and flexible finger TPR guards. Vehicle extrication operations present numerous hazards for rescue professionals ranging from minor cuts and abrasions to severe lacerations and crushing injuries. The ArmorCore™ Extrication glove is your first line of defense against impact, abrasion, and cut hazards on the job. SAPREX® ArmorCore™ fabric is made in the USA and meets ASTM/CE Level 5 standards for cut resistance. The top of your hand is protected by an outer Kevlar® shell with Thermal Plastic Rubber (TPR) finger guards and a molded hard knuckle so you can work through the wreckage. ArmorCore™ lines the entire palm with Level 5 cut resistance and is reinforced with genuine leather in the palm and fingertips for enhanced grip and durability. The quick-fit elastic cuff features an inner gaiter cuff to prevent glass and other debris from entering the glove and 3M® reflective for enhanced visual awareness in any environment. Research indicated extreme activities requiring emergency assistance surrounding a crash scene or natural disaster required a rugged lightweight glove equipped with aggressive grip, dorsal protection and the ability to work in confined areas. To assure positive contact during overhaul or mopup, the glove uses dictate cut, slash and impact protection, as well as implementing a gaiter cuff to prevent debris from entering glove. Tested during all four seasons of 2011, the Extrication Leather glove has proven tomeet all testing criteria. From vehicle extrication operations to overhaul, the genuine leather Extrication glove provides fire and rescue professionals with durable hand protection without sacrificing valuable dexterity. The top of the hand is protected by a durable Armortex® Kevlar® outer shell to resist potential cut and abrasion injuries. Flexible Thermal Plastic Rubber (TPR) safeguards the fingers and knuckles from impact and abrasion while reflective ink provides enhanced visual awareness. The palm features durable genuine leather with durable Armortex® Kevlar® reinforcement panels for added grip and durability when handling power tools and moving debris. An extended elastic gaiter cuff prevents debris from entering the glove while providing a secure fit to the wrist.
