The Contacts (sometimes referred to as People ) component in Outlook is a complete contact management program that integrates with other Outlook components. It is where you keep information about the people with whom you communicate. The Contacts folder allows you to manage your contact list, correspond with your contacts, assign tasks, and track contact correspondence. Contact items are saved in the Contacts folder, which you can access through the Contacts pane. You can open the Contacts pane from the Folder Pane.

The default view in the Contacts pane is the Business Cards view, which displays each contact on an address card. However, you can select other views from the Current View group on the Home tab.

1. Click the Contacts

button on the Folder Pane.
