During the holidays, USD student-athletes help bring joy into the lives of less fortunate families of the Mission Valley YMCA through our annual TLC Toy Drive, Donate a Dollar and Adopt a Family pro– grams. This past year, we adopted 17 families, do– nated enough gifts for 60 children and purchased more than $1,700 in gift cards. This year, selected members of the softball team participated in the Junior Seau Shop with a Jock event where boys and girls are matched up with a local athlete or celebrity and given money from the fund raiser to shop for christmas presents. Six members of the softball team had the privilage of pa rtici pati ng.
