BUSINESS CONTINUITY PLANNING The purpose of the Business Continuity Planning training seminar is to understand the benefits of Contingency and Business Continuity Planning for your Organization (as defined in the Saint-Gobain Loss Prevention Manual) , and to acquire the knowledge to implement and maintain efficient BCP at your site.

• To understand the benefits of a business continuity plan in particular Saint-Gobain expectations and methodology • To be able to assess the business risk associated with a contingency and the costs/benefits of managing that risk • To review the expectations of your entity after the course is over

• What is a BCP, why is one needed and what are its objectives, as well as its scope and definitions? • Overview of BCP and the Saint-Gobain methodology • Quantifying risks, costs, benefits and probabilities • Risk analysis, Business Impact Analysis and identifying scenarios and developments • How BCP contributes to preventing losses • Emergency / Crisis / Sales Continuity Management • Managing the process, thinking about your role and testing the plan Teaching techniques: presentations, discussions and practical exercises
