REPORTING, CONSOLIDATION LEVEL II - IFRS STANDARDS Review the overall framework and analyse details of the IFRS accounting standards and their application in the Saint-Gobain Group.

OBJECTIVES

• To master the main concepts underpinning the IFRS standards and their application to the Group as well as all the necessary adjustments required to produce the consolidated accounts • To better anticipate IFRS impacts on forecasts more accurately

• Description of how the bodies drafting IFRS standards function and the process for adopting these standards in Europe • Detailed analysis of each standard (outside the banking, insurance and agricultural sectors) • Reminder of the Saint-Gobain position with regard to each standard • Presentation of financial statements in IFRS and financial communications Teaching techniques: presentations, discussions and practical cases for practicing judgment, the concept of economic substance, and discounting calculations
