FINANCE PART I

FINANCE FOR NON-FINANCIAL MANAGERS Non-financial managers share experiences in order to understand financial basics, the Group’s approach and to include these in their own business context. Role plays, reviewing financial case studies and a practical understanding of the theory will help you integrate the key financial parameters in your own decision-making process

OBJECTIVES

• To provide the financial basics with meaning: vocabulary & definitions; understand processes; Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss statement (P&L), Working Capital Requirement (WCR), Cash Flow (CF)

• To understand these basics in order to integrate them into individual activities • To use these concepts in order to get a better understanding of current key issues

PARTICIPANTS Managers, non-financial decision-makers, Group employees from all departments. Newly hired managers and more extensively: non-financial professionals from plants and management teams of companies.

• Basic financial information for any company • Different types of financial information • Performance as a concept for uniting effort and its indicators • The importance of time in financial management • The Group’s financial Organization and communication Teaching techniques: presentations, discussions and practical exercises.
