Grounds Tips for your Home: Well, this week I’m going to prune my knockout roses and hit them up with some liquid fertilizer to get a fall bloom out of them. I will also fertilize all my other shrubs with organic fertilizer this weekend. Most horticulturists will tell you not to fertilize now because it will stimulate new growth into the fall on shrubs, they are correct based on using synthetic fertilizers which are quick - acting, organic is slow and takes up to 45 days to be available to the plant. Perfect timing for a fall feeding, and yes, I have my plant tone, holly tone and rose tone!

Please welcome Caldwell University, Royce City ISD, Simpson College, Everman, ISD, and Chestnut Hill College to the SSC Family in the first phase of summer startups, and so far, 5 more are expected for phase 2. If you see a STAT (Start-up, Transition and Troubleshooting) Team Member actually sitting still with a distant stare, do not asset deliveries, and trying to remember if that was their 38th maid cart assembled today or 39th.
