Lesson Overview: Students will learn the proper attire and the do ’s and don’ts of participating in an interview. Students will finish with a mock interview.
Responding to the immediate need of online resources, the ILCTE Innovative Curriculum Resources Project conducted a series of Professional Learning experiences. We wish to express our appreciation to the teachers for creating and sharing a lesson. This lesson is provided as a guide for online teaching. Have the students find a video that explains proper attire for both a man or woman for an interview
Have the students create a Canva which includes pictures of a business interview (male/female) casual interview (male/female) and example of what not to wear.
Have the students create a list of including 10 most common questions, 5 illegal questions, and 5 off the wall questions that could be asked an interview
Have the students create google slide of 5 things to do before an interview, 5 things to do during an interview, and 5 things to do after an interview
Evaluate: Create a mock interview video where the student is asked 10 interview questions, create a tik tok about something they had learned about interviewing, create a podcast or youtube video about interviewing, create a script answering the questions
