WUE students in the Western U.S. can pay substantially less tuition than a traditional nonresident student and can save upward of $22,000 over the first year .

What is WUE? WUE is the Western Undergraduate Exchange program with the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE). Through WUE, eligible students can enroll at UC Merced at a reduced nonresident tuition level: 150% of our regular California resident tuition. Who is eligible for WUE?
