CHEBEAGUE TRANSPORTATION COMPANY What’s New at CTC? Winter Ferry Fares effective 10/1 CTC revised its ferry fee schedule in 2018. Several fees that were seasonal became year-round fees. The two exceptions are Child 20 ride tickets and Resident/Parking Permit 10 ride tickets. Effective 10/1 Child 20 ride ticket fares are re- duced to $24.00 and Resident/Parking Permit Holder 10 ride tickets fares are reduced to $37.00. Applications for annual parking permits will be mailed in late October to current permit holders. The application will also be posted on the “Parking Service” page on our website and can be picked up at our office after 11/1/2018. Each year we receive more applications for the Cousins Is- land Lot than available spaces. Applicants for the Cousins Lot may be asked to prove residency by providing a copy of a driver’s license and/or vehicle registration. The deadline for Cousins Island lot applications is November 24, 2018. Applications received after that date will be given a Route One permit. Please check the application and terms and conditions care- fully to ensure you will qualify for a Cousins Island permit before applying for one. OFFICE HOURS CHANGE ON 10/1 Winter hours are Monday-Thursday 9 AM—4 PM Deckhand Position Opening CTC has an immediate opening for a part-time deckhand - 25-30 hours per week. Goodbye

With great regret we say goodbye to four of our deckhands! Collin Winkel joined the company in January 2016. Collin has been a dedicated employee who always showed great care following CTC policies and procedures. He has moved to Kennebunk to accept a full time posi- tion. Justin Winkel joined the company in June 2016 while still in high school. Justin has just entered his freshman year at college and we hope he will be back with us next summer. Justin showed a great deal of interest in our company and was anxious to understand all aspects of the job. Evan Winkel joined the company in July 2017. Evan was a great partici- pant in employee meet- ings, offering suggestions and insight into our oper- ations. Evan has moved to Kennebunk to accept a full time position . Trent Lloyd-Rees joined the company in March 2018. Trent is a senior at Maine Maritime Acade- my. Both our crew and customers agreed that he was a great addition to our team and we wish him much success in the future! Best wished to all!

Commuter Park- ing at Cousins Lot starts 11/1 Beginning November 1st, the commuter parking area will be reserved for those island resident per- mit holders who have a commuter sticker on their per- mit. The parking is reserved for com- muters who travel at least three days per week Monday - Fri- day.
