Island Commons Notes from the Hall

The Community Lunch on October 17 kicks off ourWednesday soup and Community Lunch program. Sponsored by an anonymous, but faithful supporter of the Hall, the lunch will probably feature Allyson’s chicken, which was such a hit last year, as well as vegetables from SecondWind Farm. (Thanks for the recipe,Allyson, and for the veggies, Chuck!) Our usual crew of amazing soup chefs will be back October 24, accompanied by this month’s guest soup chef Ursula King. Thank you, Ursula!!! We may not allow you to

leave for warmer climes in November. The question is who wants to be the next guest soup chef? And please remember that on Wednesdays, especially during Community Lunch, we could use a hand serving and cleaning up after all our hungry guests. The Hall’s annual meeting is October 18 at 5:30 p.m. at the Hall. Please fill out and turn in your proxy beforehand if you cannot attend in person. We are still hoping to fill a few slots on our board, so let us know if you are interested in serving!

Island Commons CHEBEAGUE ISLAND HALL COMMUNITY CENTER PROXY FOR ANNUAL MEETING, OCTOBER 18, 2018, 5:30 P.M.

The Chebeague Island Hall Community Center will hold its annual meeting Thursday October 18 at 5:30 p.m. at the Hall. The Hall serves the whole community, and everyone is a member. We require a 10% membership quorum to vote, so please show your interest and support by attending the meeting or returning this proxy to Dianne Brewer at 6 Rose Point Rd or any of the other

directors so that we may continue to conduct business and elect members to the board. Members of the Board of Directors are Dianne Brewer, Beverly Johnson, Sam McLean, Gina Ross, Tad Runge, Mary Soderstrom, Phil Soderstrom, and Susie Stavropoulos.
