Road Traffic Bill. A report from the Parliamentary Com– mittee on this Bill was considered, and amendments agreed upon, to be submitted to be moved in Committee on the Bill.

MR. EDWIN E. MASON, Solicitor, died upon the 12th September, 1931, at his residence, Prospect, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. Mr. Mason served his apprenticeship with his father, the late Mr. John Mason, Dublin ; was admitted in Hilary Sittings, 1883, and practised at Mullingar. MR. JAMES McCov, Solicitor, died upon the 12th September, 1931, at his residence, Roanmore, Waterford. Mr. McCoy was admitted in Trinity Sittings, 1888, and practised as a member of the firm, Dobbyn, Tandy and McCoy, at Waterford. residence, 49 Upper Mount Street, Dublin. Mr. Collins served his apprenticeship with his father, the late Mr. George Collins, Dublin: was admitted in Trinity Sittings, 1904, and practised as a member of the firm of Casey, Clay and Collins, at 21 Saint Andrew Street, Dublin. MR. JOHN W. RICHARDS, Solicitor, died upon the 1st October, 1931, at his residence, " Rath," Greystones, Co. Wicklow. Mr. Richards was admitted in Hilary Sittings, 1898, and practised as a member of the firm of S. S. & E. Reeves, 51 Merrion Square, Dublin, up to 1929, when he retired. He was a member of the Council of the Society from 1905 to 1925, and was President of the Society for the year 1916-17. MR. DAVID J. O'MEARA, Solicitor, died upon the 27th October, 1931, at his residence, Mallow, Co. Cork. Mr. O'Meara was admitted in Hilary Sittings, 1890, and practised at Mallow. MR. GEORGE M. COLLINS, Solicitor, died upon the 24th September, 1931, at his

29th October. Twenty-four members present. Examination Results.

The report of the Court of Examiners on the Society's October Examinations was submitted and adopted. Annual Report. The draft of the Annual Report of the Council was considered and adopted. OBITUARY. MR. PETER Fox, Solicitor, died upon the 4th August, 1931, at London. Mr. Fox served his apprenticeship with Mr. Thomas \V. Delany, Longford: was admitted in Hilary Sittings, 1921, and practised at Longford. MR. JAMES RIORDAN, Solicitor, died upon the 24th August, 1931, at his residence, Glenville, Dundrum, County Dublin. Mr. Riordan was admitted in Hilary Term, 1867, and practised at 54 Dawson Street, Dublin, up to 1922, when he retired. He was Crown Solicitor for the Counties Tyrone and Fermanagh from 1881 to 1922. MR. DERMOT MACDERMOT, Solicitor, died upon the 27th August, 1931, at Dublin. Mr. MacDermot served his apprenticeship with Mr. John Garvey, Ballina; was admitted in Hilary Sittings, 1903, and practised at Boyle, Co. Roscommon. MR. Louis S. MELDON, Solicitor, died upon the 30th August, 1931. Mr. Meldon was admitted in Hilary Sittings, 1879, and practised formerly at 14 Upper Ormond Quay, and latterly at 8 Merrion Square, North, Dublin, as a member of the firm of Meldon & Co.

CIRCUIT COURT RULES. Resolutions have been passed by both the Dail and the Senate approving Circuit Court Rules to come into operation on the first day of January, 1932.
