2022 FBINAA Annual Report

EDUCATION & TRAINING

LEADERSHIP CERTIFICATION PROGRAM In January, we introduced the FBINAA Leadership Certification Program. The program offers a series of courses, open to all law enforcement professionals, that encompass the latest strategies, techniques, and real-world leadership scenarios to prepare each attendee to better lead their respective unit, shift or agency into the unpredictable future of law enforcement. In 2022, over 1,500 have enrolled in the program with over 100 graduates. LEADERSHIP APB PODCAST SERIES In 2022, the FBINAA continued with the production of its podcast series entitled Leadership APB. The monthly Leadership APB podcast series engages law enforcement and public safety executives in discussions on timely and current topics affecting first responders around the world. These leaders share their leadership and managerial philosophies, successes, and obstacles they have encountered in their careers. The podcast series are free audio programs distributed to FBI National Academy Associates’ members, their staffs, and other law enforcement executives that provide our communities, states, countries, and profession with the highest degree of law enforcement professionalism and expertise. The Leadership APB podcast series is broadcasted on the first Wednesday of each month. In 2022, 11 episodes aired with a listenership of over 10,650 members and nonmembers. OFFICER SAFETY & WELLNESS Officer resiliency, safety and wellness continues to be one of the keystone advocacy issues of the FBINAA. In 2022, thanks to the support of the Motorola Solutions Foundation, over 4,000 law enforcement and correctional officers were trained in the Comprehensive Officer Resilience Program® and 60 new trainers were certified through Train-the-Trainer programs held throughout our Chapter network.
