EDUCATION & TRAINING
LEADERSHIP FORUMS In 2022, the FBINAA conducted 14 Leadership Forums: two Mass Casualty Response Leadership Forums, three Officer Resiliency, Safety & Wellness Leadership Forums, one Human Trafficking Leadership Forum, one Life After Law Enforcement® Leadership Forum, and six Leadership Tactics and Strategies for Tumultuous Times Leadership Forums. The goal of these Forums is to provide all law enforcement and other leaders with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to improve the overall security and wellness of their communities. Nearly 500 were trained in 2022. THE FALLEN OFFICERS FUND Verizon Offers Support Where It Matters, When It Matters. For many years, Verizon has supported Public Safety and the families of law enforcement who have made the ultimate sacrifice. To date, Verizon has donated more than two million dollars to the surviving families. These funds are distributed through Verizon’s partnership with the FBI National Academy Associates, Inc. In many instances, members of the local FBINAA Chapter will present the donation to the family. Please contact the office of the FBI National Academy Associates with information on any sworn officer killed in the line of duty, feloniously or accidentally. The Association will coordinate with Verizon and The Fallen Officers Fund to distribute funds to that officer’s designated beneficiary. TRAINING WEBINAR SERIES The FBINAA's 2022 Training Webinar Series provided our members and their staffs with 13 webinars focused on cutting-edge law enforcement topics and trends that were delivered by law enforcement and public safety experts from around the world. These webinars were a free member benefit and reached over 3,200 law enforcement executives.
