Other Provisions 1. Donation of paid vacation leave, and the grant of such leave to a requesting employee, shall be approved by the City Manager and implemented by the City Clerk. 2. Should two (2) or more employees be eligible to receive donated leave at any time, the leave available in the Donated Leave Bank shall be allocated equally among all eligible applicants. 3. Any donated leave granted to an employee that is not used shall be returned to the Donated Leave Bank. 4. An employee may not receive more than twenty-six (26) weeks of donated leave in any calendar year. 5. While using donated leave time, the leave recipient shall accrue paid leave in accordance with City policy. 6. Any leave taken pursuant to this policy shall be deducted from the twelve (12) weeks maximum medical leave which may be available to the employee under the Federal Family and Medical Leave Act.
