Matt Hawkins enters his junior campaign where he will be counted on to anchor the offensive line .. . he is the lone returner from the offensive line with any starting experience where he saw action at both guard and center positions ... from Orange, California, Matt prepped at Servite College Preparatory ... in his senior year the football team went 11-4, won the Goldenwest League title and were CIF runner-ups for Division 5 schools ... he lettered both his junior and senior campaigns, also earning the Angelus Award his senior year ... his brother Jon played football at Claremont McKenna, while his brother Tom played baseball at the University of North Carolina.
