Jared Keo enters his fourth and final season with the Toreros ... last year Jared's role changed to more of a blocking back ... with 7 starts in 10 games, he finished 3rd in rushing with 239 yards on 59 carries ... the backfield's most physical player, he posted 5 games with 40+ yards ... in 1995 at fullback Jared finished with 601 yards rushing on 174 carries (3.5 yards per carry) and found the endzone once (vs. Butler) ... twice he reached the century mark, gaining 105 yards at California Lutheran, and a career-best 112 yards against Butler (including a long of 32 yards) ... totaled 30 yards on 9 carries in 1994 ... prepped at Kamehameha High School in Honolulu, Hawaii where he lettered in football and track & field (All-League honors in both) ... hobbies include weight lifting, body surfing and going to the beach ... this past summer recorded a song "Surf Session" with former Torero Christian Yrizarry that has become a popular single throughout the Hawaiian Islands. KhalidMaxie enters his second year with the Toreros ... last year as a freshman saw action on both sides of the ball at defensive back and wide receiver ... in five games caught 5 passes for 41 yards with a long of 12 versus Saint Mary's ... defensively finished with 6 tackles, 1 pass deflection and 1 interception .. . he returned the interception 20 yards in win over Cal Lu ... in season final, caught 2 balls against Dayton for 12 yards ... prepped at Montclair HS where he was a two– time All-Mt. Baldy League selection ... was a CIF qualifier in both wrestling and track. Major: Education; Minor: Leadership. Brian Mcloughlin #23 JR DB

Sal Navarro enters hi s third season with the Toreros as a defensive back ... last year he sat out the season to concentrate on hi s studies ... in 1995 as a sophomore he was se lected First Team All-PFL after starting all 10 games and finishing tied for second on the team in tackles with 88 (47 solo) .. . he also chipped in with 2 quarterback sacks (-15), 1 forced fumble, 2 fumble recoveries, 4 blocked kicks, 5 pass deflections, and 3 interceptions .. . he returned two kickoffs for63 yards (3 1.5 average) ... twice he was named a PFL Player of the Week ...hi s freshman season in 1994 he appeared in 9 contests finishing with 29 tackles (15 solo), l fumble recovery and 3 pass break-ups ... a native San Diegan , he prepped at St. Augustine where he lettered in football, soccer and track & field. Major: Urban Studies.
