THERAPEUTICS & SPECIAL OLYMPICS

[FALL FUN]

Program registration for fall activities will begin on

August 1st. Activities will include movie nights,

dinner nights, game nights, arts and crafts, cooking

classes, outdoor education, and Explore Georgia.

Fee:

$25.00 per participant

Movie Nights:

$11.00 per movie trip

The fee allows participants to sign up for any of the

PANCAKE BREAKFAST FUNDRAISER]

Date:

August 26 – Deer Lick Park Host

Time:

8 a.m. - 10 a.m.

Cost:

$5.00 per plate

(includes pancakes, sausage & a breakfast beverage)

[YOUTH GROUP]

A brand new program where young Special Olympics

athletes can begin learning the skills in various sports

programs that are o ered for our older participants.

Ages:

7-15

Cost:

$15.00

The Douglas County Parks and Recreation

Department and Special Olympics Georgia o er

many sports throughout the year. These sports are

seasonal in nature. Fall Sports include Bocce, Softball,

Bowling and Equestrian.

16 & up

Cost:

Most are free

*Nominal cost for bowling and equestrian
