collegiate enthusiasm by arranging for in
tramural competition in volleyball, basket
ball, and tennis; by encouraging extracur
ricular activities such as golfing and boat
ing; by competing with other San Diego
groups; and by awarding the "Spirit Ban
ner" to deserving classes, during the vari
ous sports seasons.
