simultaneously recover fresh water, electricity, and ammonia for industrial and agricultural applications.

concrete mixers save money on transporting ash, and municipal wastewater systems save money on disposal.

Glide Robotics

Glide Robotics is a community of roboticists and entrepreneurs at Virginia Tech who are committed to

developing an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle platform for education.

Yard Mapper

– David Evans and Patrick Acker

Yard Mapper tracks trailers and shipping

containers at distribution centers significantly

reducing the time required to locate trailers

while also reducing related penalty fees.

The system does not require any extensive

infrastructure (includingWi-Fi) and can be

installed in a matter of hours.

Leva

– Martin Trapero, Marco Perez-MacCollum,

and Guillermo Semidey

Leva is designing a wristband device tailored to

help individuals learn and improve new skills

through haptic passive feedback. Our product

combines neuroscience and wearable technology

to provide a new way of learning.

Haven

Sean Palmer, Chris Dare, Dennis Ahn, and Ashlyn
