In the base year, AOAC proposes:

Advisory Panel Meeting to identify and prioritize 25 dietary
supplement ingredients for which systematically reviewed analytical
methods are needed;
•
2 Stakeholder Panel Meetings and 7 ingredient working groups to
develop standard method performance requirements (SMPRs) for the
top 7 ingredients;
•
Provide technical guidance and assistance on protocol development
for single and multi‐laboratory validation as needed, through the

Publish SMPRs in the
Journal of the AOAC INTERNATIONAL
and the
Official Methods of Analysis

. AOAC will provide technical guidance
and assistance in the preparation of manuscripts to avoid delays in
