Children’s Activities
German families often spend their free time and vacations together. There are also
opportunities for children to attend camps or other vacation activities that do not include their
parents. Mainspiele, the first two and a half weeks of the summer school holidays in Hesse
offer different activities for children at the Museumsufer in Sachsenhausen, Opernplatz and
Taunusanlage. Frankfurt is full of activities for children. Listings of the numerous playgrounds
can be obtained at the city-information in the local town halls.
