it is recommended a radiation dose of at least 40 Gy in 20 fractions
Local control rates of 94% with doses over 40 Gy, dropped to 64% with
doses lower than 40 Gy
In clinical practice, a radiation dose of 45-50 Gy with 2 Gy daily
fractions is usually recommended
