Hyde Park is a neighborhood
and community area on the
South Side of Chicago, Illinois,
U.S.A. It is located on the shore
of Lake Michigan seven miles
(11 km) south of the Chicago
Loop. Hyde Park has received
national attention in recent years
for being the long time home
of President Barack Obama.
Hyde Park has many bus stops
and train stops to easily
be in downtown Chicago within
20 minutes.
The Plus Campus is situated
on the campus of the University
Of Chicago. The Campus
consists of beautiful stone
buildings, sprawling green open
spaces, and is surrounded
on three sides by large public
parks.
The accommodations are within
a 5-10 minute walk to the
refectory and 10 minutes walk
to classroom facilities.
All classrooms have state
of the art technology. The “L”
Chicago’s elevated train system
has a stop a Cottage Grove,
which is only a 15-minute walk
from the Residence Hall.
Also the University is about
a 15-20 minute walk to the
Museum of Science and Industry
and the 57th Street Beach
on Lake Michigan.
