RathGibson’s North Branch facility
RathGibson, a manufacturer of
precision welded, welded and drawn,
and seamless stainless steel, nickel,
and titanium tubing, has been awarded
ISO 9001:2000 management system
and Pressure Equipment Directive (PED)
certifications for its North Branch, New
Jersey manufacturing plant.
ISO 9001:2000 management system
certification was given to RathGibson
in recognition of its effective imple-
mentation of documentation and records
management, top administration’s
commitment to customers, clear policy
establishment, effectual planning and
implementation, well-organised resource
management, and efficient process
control, measurement, and analysis.
PED 97/23/EC 7/2, Annex I, Paragraph
4.3 was also awarded. This European
Union certification is given to
manufacturers who have demonstrated
high levels of safety and quality
management systems for high pressure
vessels.
