MISCO DIGITAL REFRACTOMETER
The Misco Digital Refractometer provides increased accuracy and
efficiency when measuring the percent saturation and freeze point of
sodium chloride salt-brine solutions. A quick, easy, and accurate
method for measurement, the Misco Refractometer eliminates
sources of error. To use, just place one or two drops on the measur-
ing surface, press a button, and instantly receive a temperature-com-
pensated readout on the LCD display. The readout is complete with
the unit of measure and freeze point of the brine, at the concentra-
tion level recorded.
This device eliminates the need for conversion tables, graphs, or
charts by allowing the user to read in the unit of measure; percent
by weight, percent by volume, parts per thousand, grams per Liter,
°SAL, specific gravity, etc. There are also special NIST traceable
calibration fluids available if required by your quality
control policy.
