NCYC is fortunate to have watched this young woman grow up. She has
always been very active and participated in Kids Day through her
parents.
She has also lead, directed, and organized “putting on the hits” for
many years. Her enthusiasm and love of NCYC has never waned.
This year she took on the leadership role for Kids Day and created the
idea for the Disney theme. From there she brought in other Jr.
Members and her friends to assist and become the Disney characters
that all children love.
Kids Day is an extremely difficult event to plan. It requires asking for
donations, shopping, ordering the outdoor blow-ups, and getting the
food it takes to feed all the kids and their families.
The NCYC Flag and Board of Directors are proud and thrilled to welcome
Shelby Romatz into the Order of the Anchor! Congratulations Shelby,
and thank you for a job well done!
