Biodentine™ - Septodont
Biodentine is a dentine substitute that is used to
treat damaged dentin in both the crown and the
root with zero shrinkage. It is used to treat
permanent dentin restorations, deep cavities,
pulp capping, pulpotomies, etc in the crown and
root perforations, pulpal floor perforations,
internal/external resorptions in the root. In
addition to treating damaged dentin, Biodentine
provides a number of clinical benefits including
remineralization, preservation of pulp and
prevention of clinical failures. Due to its
composition of 100% mineral material,
Biodentine is close to human dentine, offering
the same mechanical properties.
