Medicare Provider Status
Medicare Australia
will be conducting an audit of speech
pathologists with a provider number early 2016 to ensure they
are current financial members of Speech Pathology Australia,
which is a requirement for speech pathologists to maintain a
Medicare provider number.
Medicare will be checking whether or not SPA members with
a provider number have renewed their membership by the
due date 1 January 2016. Please renew early to avoid any
potential disruption to your Medicare provider status. We
look forward to your continued membership and support
throughout 2016.
