Implant Position
•
Sub-mammary or sub-pectoral are standard for
augmentation.
•
Post-mastectomy, subcutaneous seems logical, especially with
a skin sparing technique, BUT high risk of implant loss,
wrinkling, infection…..
•
Partial or fully sub-muscular is therefore preferred.
•
1 or 2 stage options
