the Carrier Resources Dept. decided to liven things up and had a
"Dogs Days of Summer" celebration.
The first event was a dollar store gift game. We each had a wrapped "must have" from the
dollar store where the roll of the dice determined if gifts would be passed to the left, right or
skip a person, etc. Prizes included a leopard print steering wheel cover, solar powered dancing
dog, lottery ticket, and a pink flamingo drinking cup - just to name a few. Food had to be a part
of the celebration so we feasted on refreshing salads, yummy cheese dips, delicious fruit filled
desserts and of course, Chex cereal Puppy Chow.
In order to exercise our right brain muscles, we had a bucket of faux sand to make
castles and we each created a different golf ball critter. Our menagerie consists
of a pig, bee, dog, frog, turtle, crab, spider, ladybug, fish, elephant, giraffe, owl,
peacock, two emoji's and Mike Wazowski.
