Mannheim School District 83 in Franklin Park, IL held its 4th annual Teacher University
from June 6–8, 2017. This year’s focus was to provide professional development
for district K-8 teachers to improve learning and instruction, and prepare for the full
implementation of the new social science standards in the 17–18 school year.
Our district’s Technology Learning Coaches offered training on inquiry-based learning,
blended learning, and various technology tools.
