WHAT IS

KOMBUCHA?

Kombucha is a tangy beverage made by fermenting sweetened tea with a culture called a SCOBY (a symbiotic

colony of bacteria and yeast). The process of fermenting can take between 7–14 days and this can vary

depending on certain factors such as the room temperature and the SCOBY health. Fermented kombucha is

packed with a wealth of organic acids, B vitamins, enzymes and probiotics, all of which are contributing to the

growing popularity as a health drink.
