HI98331 Soil Test™

GroLine Soil Test

Direct Soil EC and Temperature Meter

with Built-in Stainless Steel EC Probe

The GroLine Soil Test EC (conductivity) and

temperature tester offers many advanced

features for growers of all types. The Soil

Test offers automatic one-point calibration,

stability indicator, hold functions to freeze

readings on screen, lowbattery indicator, and

selectable automatic shut-off.

With

its

compact

size,

single-button

operation, and ease of calibration, Soil Test is

the optimal tool for EC measurements made

directly in soil.

GroLine Quick Cal, pH and EC Calibration,

Cleaning and Storage Solutions

With GroLine Quick Cal solution only one solution is needed to calibrate both pH and

conductivity. This dual-purpose calibration solution is used with compatible meters with the

Quick Cal mode or with pH and conductivity meters that calibrate to pH 6.86 and 5.00 mS/cm,

respectively.

See page 2.139

GroLine also includes pH

(See page 2.139)

and conductivity

(See page 5.34)

solutions

in 120 mL and 250 mL bottles.

Maintaining a clean pH electrode is vital for not only in getting an accurate pH measurement

but also ones that are drift free. Any coating to the sensitive glass bulb or clogging of the

junction will impede the electrical circuit resulting in erratic and misleading readings. GroLine

cleaning solution ensures the maximum performance from the pH electrode to provide

readings that you can depend on.

See page 2.143

All glass pH electrodes need to be stored properly to guarantee an accurate calibration and to

protect the pH electrode frompremature failure. A few drops of storage solutionwill maintain

the hydrated layer on the glass bulb and prevent the reference junction and electrolyte from

drying out. GroLine storage solutions are specifically formulated to accomplish the task and

maximize the life of the pH electrode.
