Conductivity Meter

Simple User Interface

Operation is simple with limited features

that only require the use of a couple of

buttons. Readings are easy to view on the

large, clear display.

Automatic Calibration

Automatic pH calibration can be performed at

up to 5 points using 7 standard buffers (1.68,

4.01, 6.86, 7.01, 9.18,10.01, and 12.45) and

2 custom buffers.

HI1131B pH Electrode

The HI2215 is supplied with the HI1131B glass

body, double junction, refillable pH electrode

with an indicating sensor made of High

Temperature (HT) glass. The double junction

and HT glass design allows the HI1131B to

be used in a wide variety of application from

sampleswithmetals andTris buffer to samples

at elevated temperatures.

Temperature Compensation

HI2215

offers

manual

or

automatic

temperature

compensation

of

pH

measurements over a wide range from -20.0

to 120.0°C.

mV mode

The HI2215 has a mV mode that can be used

with a wide variety of ORP electrodes and

for relative mV readings. The mV mode is

useful in checking the offset and slope of a pH

electrode. Understanding the offset and slope

characteristic is helpful in knowing if the probe

is functioning correctly.

Stability Indicator

The HI2215 features a stability indicator. An

hourglass appears on the display when there

is instability in the reading. The hourglass

disappears once the reading has stabilized. At

that time a reading should be taken or stored.

Measurement Recall

The HI2215 has a “RCL” button to review

log-on-demand or GLP information on the

meter display.

Data Transfer

Data can be transferred to a PC with a USB

cable and HI92000 software (both sold

separately).

EC solutions begin on page 5.34

The HI2215 is an affordable pH/mV benchtop meter with 0.001 pH resolution. Operation is

simplified to calibration, measurement range selection and a memory recall of logged data.

The HI2215 can perform up to a five-point pH calibration with seven standard buffers (1.68, 4.01,

6.86, 7.01, 9.18, 10.01, and 12.45) and two custom buffers. The HI2215 has two separate inputs

for a BNC electrode and temperature probe. The BNC connector is a universal connector that is

commonly available and allows the user to select from a wide variety of pH or ORP electrodes for

their particular application.

The memory of the HI2215 allows for storage of up to 100 log-on-demand records and up to 500

interval logging records. Logged data, along with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) data, can be

recalled on the meter itself or transferred to a PC via USB cable.
