to feel to same way. Ever since our chairman, Charles Vella set up
the company in 1972, our mission has been to create holidays and
travel experiences that deliver more than what has been asked for.
We believe it is our people, now available in 3 locations in Malta,
who help us achieve this. People who keep their ears to ground,
who anticipate what you are looking for before you are aware of it
yourself and who have the contacts to make things happen.
With so many options available, it can be difficult to know where
to start. That’s where we come in. Whether you know exactly
what you want, but not how to get it, or whether you are looking
for inspiration and ideas, our team are here to help guide you

At one end of the travel spectrum is the lure of an adventure
or exploring a different culture, new experiences, learning and
enlightenment. At the other it’s all about chilling your boots and

of course there’s a whole host of variations and combinations in
between. We offer three ways to travel that cover most options.
You’ll see that the holidays listed throughout this brochure broadly
fall into these three categories but rest assured, we can tailor-
make any trip to your individual requirements.

the options are set out here for you to explore and throughout the
brochure you’ll see how each holiday is classified.
CHOOSE ACCOMMODATION TO SUIT
YOUR STYLE... AND BUDGET
We also recognise that everyone’s definition of luxury is different.
For some, it is five star international hotels, fine dining and air-
con all the way. For others luxury is the privilege of discovery,
solitude or insight often accessed in more remote areas where the
accommodation is more rustic. At ROCS Travel our definition of
luxury is simply getting exactly what you are looking for.
SAVE
Great value accommodation that nonetheless delivers something
a bit special –typically independent boutique hotels which ooze
style, character and a contemporary ambience. While they may
not offer 24 hour room service and a superfast business centre,
who cares? You’re on holiday!
SPEND
This is what we’d describe as ‘traditional luxury’, accommodation
with an international flavour where you can expect most of the
5-star whistles and bells such as sumptuous accommodation, fine
dining, round-the-clock concierge service, spa and swimming
pools.
SPLURGE
The hotels which fall into this category take luxury to an
unbelievable level; while we don’t pretend these are the common-
or-garden option, there are times when it seems appropriate to
splash out on an experience so sublime, you’ll dine out on it for
years and your friends will be green with envy.
