Q:
I’m totally over dragging myself
out of bed every morning and never
really feeling great day in and out
for years now. I know I can’t keep going like
this and expect to be well. Looking in the
mirror these days, it’s hard to believe that I
used to be extremely fit and full of energy.
Now that person feels like someone I used
to know and can hardly even remember.
I’m horrified to have just been diagnosed
with high blood pressure and I’m not even
close to 50. According to the doctor my
liver is also evidently not too flash either.
So I’m finally ready to do whatever it takes
before all my wheels fall off, but need some
direction. I’ve tried to go the natural way
on my own, but the net is a never ending
minefield of conflicting information and Dr
Google has nearly driven me crazy. Without
any real plan to run with, I just keep going in
circles trying different diets, pills, potions
and supplements that all haven’t worked
anyway. I’m also now taking medication for
type 2 diabetes and even though I hate it,
have been told I’ll never be able to get off it
again. Is this really true and what can I do to
go forward instead of further backwards?
I’m extremely worried more drugs will be
prescribed to me soon and definitely don’t
want to go there. Please help.

You’re
understandably
sorely
disappointed, as are most people
that follow the typical western way
of life, until finally forced to undertake a
whole lifestyle change. Indeed nothing short
of a complete mind & body shift is required
in order to achieve sustainable wellness
in our modern high-tech society so sadly
saturated with sickness. As I often say...
diets fail – but lifestyle wins. Of course, this
doesn’t at all preclude the commonsense
logic that requires a genuine balanced
Natural & Organic wholefood diet to underpin
a balanced functional & sustainable lifestyle.
The majority may rule in a democracy.
However, failing to make Health your no.1
priority by following the crowd down the
slippery slope to the inevitable nursing home
disaster is really akin to madness. You’re
certainly right to be concerned about the
introduction of additional medications, which
will surely come without implementing the
shift.
I recommend you contact the office to

Believing prevention is better than cure
and acting on that belief daily can result in
optimal quality of life. As global knowledge
increases and corresponding awareness
grows at an astounding rate, those
awakened by it (as well as via suffering
chronic sickness, pain & general poor
health) have become disillusioned with the
patently obvious failure of pharmaceuticals
to deliver promised Health & Wellbeing in
the 21st century. As a result, multitudes
now search the internet daily for Natural
alternatives, as they turn away in droves
from toxic & “band-aid” drugs. Of course
there is a time where certain medications
are relevant and logic must prevail in these
instances. Nevertheless, in Australia the
majority of the population still believe the
basic lie that drugs actually contain healing
properties, rather than understanding that
in general medications simply mask real
health problems to allow people to continue
to make wrong lifestyle choices that are not
really sustainable – and so the inevitable
terrible end of life for toomany is Alzheimer’s/
stroke/paralysis/crippling
arthritis
etc.
etc. The following individual’s experience
epitomises the typical frustrating struggle
in the quest to find the balance to enjoy a
vibrant, functional & sustainable life. The
online journey leads multitudes to self-
diagnose & self-medicate without any real
consultation. This practice is sadly perilous
& even tragic in some cases, especially via
importing supposed Natural Health products
from the USA... where the operative word
is not only caution, but furthermore poses
real danger (of 29 products tested, none
contained absolutely any of the professed
active ingredients wonderfully internet
marketed – yet another was actually an
anabolic steroid posing as a multivitamin!).
It’s certainly true that a little bit of knowledge
is dangerous, especially in relation to one’s
Health. Nothing replaces experience that
comes via long term collaborative research
between like-minded advocates that are
genuinely dedicated to pursuing optimal
Natural Health via practical application &
observation over multiple decades. This is
what allows us to work together in order to
offer practical tangible help based on logic,
reason, science and common sense – which
is not too common these days☺.
The good news is that dynamic sustainable
Health & Wellbeing is actually achievable
for people of all ages who exercise wisdom
to “crowd out the bad” by committing to a
reality based Organic & Natural lifestyle.
