Meaning of “Risk”
Risk is not an individual property!
It quantifies the response of a population receiving a specified stimulus
Different predictors = different grouping of patients
But this has consequences:
Differences in treatment optimization
Differences in the assessment of risk, used for decision making!
Developing/choosing and using risk models is not an automated procedure!
